In our catalog of mitres for priests and bishops, you can choose handmade mitres crafted from high-quality fabric, decorated with machine and hand embroidery and various decorative elements. Bishop’s crosses of various shapes, colors, and decorations are available.
Mitres can be made either in the Byzantine style (without trimming) or in the traditional style (with trimming). We offer 2 types of trimming – handmade (gold/silver) and from specialized fabric (gold/silver).
Fabrics used for making mitres:
- velvet in all liturgical colors – high-quality fabric on a cotton base with a dense cut pile on the front side, pile length 1–2 mm, made in Italy;
- Greek brocade (gold and silver) – high-quality smooth fabric with a silk base, containing metallic threads (gold/silver) in the weave, with a slight sheen on both sides, produced in Greece;
- church jacquard silk in all liturgical colors – high-quality silk without metallic thread, with a light sheen on both sides, featuring a light jacquard texture, made in Turkey;
- bagira (green, blue, violet, raspberry, light blue) – soft velour, tactilely similar to suede, with a short pile, wear-resistant and practical in care, made in China;
- gabardine in all liturgical colors – dense textured fabric made of synthetic fibers with a characteristic weave, highly resistant to wear, manufactured in China.
Our catalog offers a selection of more than 30 embroidery designs, which can be made in gold, silver, combined, and in color with luxury and silk threads. We offer the following types of icons on mitres:
- 3D printed icons in oval metal frames;
- printed 3D icons in shaped metal frames;
- oval embroidered icons with a gold/silver background;
- the icons are embroidered, shaped, and colorful;
- oval embroidered icons with a mitre background;
- icons embroidered with surface embroidery.

The mitre can be decorated to your preference:
- cord (gold/silver);
- semicircles (gold/silver);
- rhinestone ribbon.
The embroidery on the mitre can be decorated with hot-fix rhinestones, pearls, rhinestones on a metal base, Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, and bullion according to your choice. The final price and production time depend on the level of complexity and additional decorations.
